Winter Fest
Saturday January 17, 10:00am-2:00pm
If you have a question about houseplants, come join us at Houseplants 101! This class covers everything from learning about different types of houseplants, their light and watering needs, to enjoying a small tour of our greenhouse. This 2-hour class will give you all the skills you need to be a successful plant parent, and even includes a 4" houseplant to take home. Come join us!
Class is $15 +tax, includes a 4" houseplant and a small greenhouse tour.

Houseplants 101
Saturday, January 17, 10:30am-12:30pm
Stop by to paint your own birdhouse! We will have all the supplies you need and as always, leave the mess with us! Bring the kiddos, a friend, yourself, or anyone you know who loves birds! You will also get a DIY take-home bird feeder kit!

MLK Day Craft
Monday January 19, anytime between10am-4pm
Join us as Donna Tatting, a 20-year University of Minnesota Extension Master Gardener, teaches us about winter seed sowing! This class is perfect for gardeners of all experience levels and is a great way to get kids interested in gardening! You will learn the basics of winter sowing, we will walk you through each step, so you feel confident trying it at home. After the lesson, you will get to create your own seed sowing “greenhouse” to take home with you. All supplies are provided. This seed sowing method allows us to get a head start on a garden during the winter months and has been around for many years. Come ready to learn, plant, and enjoy a cozy winter gardening activity!

Every Saturday in February anytime between 10am-2pm
Join us for Succulent Saturdays and create your own succulent dish garden to liven up your home! First you will choose a container (or bring your own) then pick out the succulents you love. It’s that easy! A GV team member will be available to help you plant your succulents and make sure you have a beautiful creation to take home!
