Join us at Green Valley as we plant a kitchen tabletop herb garden! Herbs are tasty, beautiful, and can be grown indoors year round! In this hands-on workshop we will discuss the basics of herb growing and harvesting, and answer all of your questions about growing herbs. Then, you will choose 3 herbs from our selection and plant them up into a container that you will take home! As always, leave the mess with us!
Class fee is $29.99 +tax (includes take-home herb garden)

Tabletop Herb Garden
Saturday March 29, 11am-12pm
Join us as Ken Schroepfer, an Isanti County University of Minnesota Extension Master Gardener, teaches us tips and tricks for growing bigger and better apples. It is a crucial process that starts in spring and yields a rewarding crop come apple season! Ken will also discuss different treatment approaches-organic or conventional to care for the tree's young maturing fruit.
Class fee $5, includes take home harvested seeds

Join us as Donna Tatting, a 20 year University of Minnesota Extension Master Gardener, teaches us how to design beautiful container gardens! Container gardens are perfect for everything from a small deck to anywhere around your house you want to add color and interest. Whether its annuals, perennials, vegetables, or fruits, you can grow something beautiful or edible in a container! In this class we will look at all the options and combinations to create easy to care for and functional container gardens.
