We absolutely loved touring Diana's Garden in Zimmerman this August for our second, and final, Garden Tour of the season! Her garden is full of beautiful perennials, shrubs, and a handful of annuals. She has a large vegetable garden, 3 ponds with dazzling fountains, and many woodland trails that aid in providing a calm and relaxing atmosphere to enjoy.
Our amazing hostess, Diana, has been working on her home, gardens, and landscaping for 40 years. Her husband, an excavator by trade, hand dug each of the beautiful ponds you see on their land. She does all of the upkeep of the garden herself and has found ingenious ways to take care of her plants, put her garden to bed for the winter, and get ready for new growth in the spring.
Take a look at some of Diana's beautiful garden spaces below!
Diana's garden is the perfect mix of sun and shade. She uses a lot of flowers in her garden and aims to create interest for all seasons. Sprinkled in, you will find a variety of perfect decor pieces such as wells, statuary, and potted plants. It was truly a joy to visit!
If you missed our garden tours this year, don't fear! We will be touring gardens again next summer during the peak growing season. We would love to see you there!
If you have recommendations for a local garden to tour, please email eprigge@gvgh.com. We would love to hear from you!
Happy Gardening!
